Mark completed a 26-year career with the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Captain. He served initially as a Surface Warfare Officer for 10 years then transferred to Engineering Duty for the remainder of his career. Mark served as Chief Engineer of USS Reid (FFG-30) and USS NIMITZ (CVN-68). He also completed tours as Ship Maintenance Officer for both the Commander Naval Surface Group Middle Pacific (COMNAVSURFGRUMIDPAC) in Hawaii and Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific (COMNAVAIRPAC) in Coronado, CA. Mark completed tours as a project superintendent at Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. He was also honored to serve as the Commanding Officer, Fleet Technical Support Center, Pacific (FTSCPAC).
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Mark is DAWIA Level III Certified in Production Quality and Manufacturing (PQM)
In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He also has a passion for building cars and his latest is a ’65 Cobra.
